Have you tried cold brew coffee yet? It is less acidic, easier on the stomach, and allows for more flavour to come out of the beans. Skip fancy cold brew systems and try using a nut milk bag instead.
All you need:
1.5 c whole coffee beans (I love Fluid Coffee Roasters which is local, solar roasted and packed in compostable bags)
2 litre glass or stainless steel pitcher
8 cups of water
First, coarsely grind your coffee beans and then transfer the ground coffee to your nut milk bag, cinch closed, and place in the pitcher. Hold the string out of the pitcher as you pour in the water to fill to the top. Make sure the nut milk bag is securely closed, and submerge fully in the water. Screw the top on the pitcher and place in the fridge. Let the coffee brew/steep for at least 11 hours and up to 30 hours.
Pour over ice, add your favourite creamer if you’d like, and enjoy!
